I could run 2 of them in any configuration, which proved there's nothing wrong with the connections or the cables itself. you rocked!!! and after restarting, my display options had been reset to (1) resolution of 640x480 and (2) "show desktop 2 only" and one of my Asus VG248QE monitors hooked up via displayport http://mixtecadigital.com/display-settings/unable-to-save-settings-windows-7-display.html In the end, all I needed to do was move the Asus monitor (the original one) back to its original DVI port on the first row on the graphics card.
