Can't you save into ANY folder? Cannot Open Attachments In Outlook 2013 When the 99 temporary copies limit is reached it will no longer open/save attachments of the same name. The same attachment, sent directly from Gmail, was got and opened by recipients w/o problems. I can't open up or save any files with the .rtf extention, everything else opens up with no problem.

What u do then is just update the drive letter in that registry variable, restart Outllok and voila u can do what u want with ur attachments again. The problem comes up when you try to open an attachment with the same name more than 99 times as Outlook will not increment the filename any further.
