I added in a couple little additions of my own like removing from the registry a reference to an old print server etc... Kyocera Deleter Tool Deleting all printers didn't work, deletinguser profiles didn't work, printui didn't work, reg hacks didn't work (everything got corrupted), basically nothing else worked. You should now be able to delete the printer drivers without an error stating that the printer driver is in use!This solution seems to work better, I have used this methods several times

I have been working for weeks trying to get rid of our old HP universal drivers as they interfere with the new HP universal drivers. I have tried to remove them as the domain admin, and local admin with no luck.
