Plus, if I want to send it to someone, all of the records will be sent as well, not just the ones I had included on my own. There is nothing special about "the cloud" which in Ancestry's case appears to be more of a fine mist than a cloud. I work on Family Tree Maker and use Ancestry solely as a source of clues. Just check the box to not automatically renew and they will send you an email to remind you, which you can ignore or renew.
